Hey, all!
Back with another status report on how DeryniMUSH is progressing:
excellent!
Ann sent us the pre-release info on FUDGE rules for Deryni characters and
we're in the process of updating our code to encompass this info.
Thanks so much, Ann. Your aid was timely and cuts out months of coding for
us.

We love you forever.
Here's the updates:
Webpage in the making (addy forthcoming). A fellow Deryni fanatic contacted
me on the MUSH and has been helping me get the graphics together for our
official webpage. Somehow, she got this old artist off his duff and into
art, once more. Real life had encroached so much, I had let my art skills
lapse. Thanks to Kelsi, I'm back in the saddle again.
Feature Characters: in the process of adding them all (while I build the
rooms, tweak the coded commands for character generation and a thousand
other things.)
Timezones: added a command to show forth a list of timezones across the
world that adjusts itself for daylight savings time. A simple +tz <enter>
pulls up the list. Now you can see what time it is in Tokyo or Central
Europe and many points between.
MUSH moved! Yep, that's right, we've moved the game to a new server:
genesismuds.com. Don't fret, though, because we've also made sure that
anyone using: deryni.korongil.net 1120 will automagickally go to
deryni.genesismuds.com 1120. Again, I extend an invitation to you all to
come to the MUSH and have a look around. Just remember you need to install
mushclient (PC).
I'm looking for folks who like to write and would enjoy helping me describe
areas in the Eleven Kingdoms. Currently, I've started Coroth Castle and
environs. Because KK chose to use a latin phrase in Deryni Checkmate to
describe one of our most favorite hero's personal rooms, I've decided to
name all areas of the castle in latin. You can imagine how slow this is
going, having to look up a translation for each area. Anyone who can tell me
the latin phrase that inspired this obsession gets 500 farthings as soon as
they log on and page me the answer
Adapted the Weather system: now, I can easily tell it to alter terrain in an
area so the weather can adapt more specifically to our needs. This will help
role-play so much.
Much more is going on. Again, I ask my fellow Deryni fans to log on the MUSH
and lend a hand. This venue is a perfect place to role-play your stories in
the Eleven Kingdoms. All are welcome.
