I noted that the movie portrayed Edmund as a better character than the
book. In the book, Edmund tells the White Witch everything he had heard in
the Beavers' house (including the location of Aslan and his army) right away
when he meets her the second time. However, in the movie, he's more closed
mouthed, probably due to the White Witch sending her wolves howling after
Peter et al after Edmund told her they were at the Beavers' house. The next
morning, he does tell her (under a threat of being stoned) that his siblings
were going to meet Aslan, but withheld the crucial information that Aslan
would be waiting at the Stone Table with an army. He doesn't cough up that
info until several hours later, in an attempt to save a Fox from being
stoned.
