....but you can still drool over the bigger cameras. I had Thanksgiving
dinner with a friend who has the huge Canon 6.3 megapixel camera, with
a monster EF zoom lens. He's also got an Epson 7-cartridge color printer;
an 11x14 print of one of his pictures (*beautiful* color, btw) showed
nothing that I could use to determine if the print had come from a digital
or wet-process film original.

On-topic chuckle for the day: I'm still seeing occasional advertisements
for "xxx Million Megapixel" cameras. Ad-writers really *do* need to buy
a clue from time to time rather than relying on the "not responsible
for errors" disclaimers in the ads...

I'm envisioning a digital camera the size of an astronomical radio
telescope, not exactly hand-carried. 8 )
But it makes *great* prints.

Now, if I could just find a CCD back for my 4x5 view camera...although
I'm not sure that I would survive seeing the price tag.
