High praise indeed! [This is the opinion of The Guardian, printed on the
cover of Flight]

Got it now, after looking out for it all week it finally arrived in the
stores for me to get today. Kids off to bed early tonight, and off we go!

Unfortunately, according to Amazon.com it won't come out in the USA until April of 2006. Sad

You could be like me and order it from Amazon.UK

Only adds $10.00 or so in shipping. (sigh)

I just got my copy in the mail 10 minutes ago and already have a question.
The book info page lists the copyright date AND the publishing date as 2004.
Strange.

Well, off the the comfy chair to start reading.

P.S. I take it that 'Frienship' is a correct english spelling?

Yes! (sigh) I'm still waiting for my book to arrive. Must be
somewhere between here (ohio) and the UK.

I'm really pleased you guys have your books. However, PLEASE be careful not
to post any spoilers without adequate warning and at least a blank screen to
the spoiler part. I really don't want anything to detract from my enjoyment
and discovery when I finally get to read 'Flight'.

Thanks folks. Smile

Hmm, Belgarath? I've just started reading your book this weekend past.

LOL. The Belgariad and Malloreon series are one of my favorites,
though Eddings' newer series is a disappointment! I've had The Elder
Gods book for about a year now, and have not finished it yet (and
probably won't). The only other author I've quite on is Jordon. I
gave up half way through book 6 of the wheel of time. There is not one
Feist novel I have not enjoyed and read at least twice, if not three
times.
I can't think of any other world I've enjoyed more than Midkemia, and
ALL of Ray's novels. The characters are fascinating (Nakor for
example). Nakor has to be on the top of my list of favorite
characters.

I've used the Belgarath persona online for about 20 years now (both BBS
days and now the 'net). Guess I picked that identity as his philosophy
at times closely matches my world view.

Well folks, Flight of the Night Hawks has just arrived in the mail!!!!!
See you all in about a week!!!
