Hello I won a auction on ebay, the book is an old one "1897 copyright' by
Bram Stoker. "Dracula".
It's in good shape. I paid a lot for it because my girlfriend likes the
Vampire stuff). I was wondering if $66.00 was too much to pay?

Thank you
Scott

According to this website

<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.sherlock-holmes.org.uk/News/News_archive/" target="_blank">www.sherlock-holmes.org.uk/News/News_archive/</a> 2002/130302_news.htm

a 1897 copy of Dracula was expected to fetch $3000-4000 at their
auction. Of course, you'd have to sell your copy in the right forum
to get that kind of money for it. Looks like you didn't pay too much

just curious...
is it really an original first edition - then it's worth much
but every reprint contains the note of the original copyright,
or for a renewed copyright; every reprint should also show the reprint date
