This is a weird book. I'm not sure if it's something between Invasion
of the Body Snatchers and Alien. I'm a quarter of the way through.
Does it get weirder? Anyone read it and can recommend I continue. I
guess I will just to find out what the hell is going on.

The answer to your question is YES. On all counts. Keep reading. It
has a good payoff and a good wrap-up. Enjoyable SK read.

And as usual, the book is sooooo much better than the movie. So much better!

Did you see the movie? I read in that Time interview that SK didn't
think too much of it. I liked it...

DT V related King books, according to King... - On the list of King's books that precedes the title page, there are a number of books which have been 'boldfaced' and noted at the bottom as 'Dark Tower related.' Book Release Dates - Hey, I was wondering how rigid book release dates are. In other words, do bookstores ever shelve books early? I'm guessing it mostly depends on the actual bookstore. Basically, I'm itching to get my hands on DTV. Does anyone know any stores that might..
