Education of a Wandering Man
A Memoir
by Louis L'Amour

Shortly before his death in June 1988, Louis L'Amour completed writing his
most unique adventure story: a personal reflection on his lifelong love
affair with learning. In this book, he vividly recalls many of the books he
read, the places he visited, and the people he met that catalyzed his
evolution as a writer. Illustrated with B&W photos. The listing of Tex Burns
as author in Item Specifics is wrong. L'Amour used Tex Burns for Hopalong
Cassidy novels and claimed he never wrote the books. It certainly would not
be used on this book.

Bantam Books, New York, 1989, 3rd printing, 232 pages, 6 1/4" x 9 1/4", red
boards with gray cloth spine and metallic red lettering, dust jacket, red
endpapers, illustrated.
