I currently have for sale the following old EE texts. Postage is $2.50 for the
first book, and $1 for each additional volume (Media Mail postage within the
US, at cost elsewhere). The books are:
Fink, Donald G., "Engineering Electronics" McGraw-Hill, 1938. First edition,
seventh impression. The 358 page hardbound book is in fine condition, fresh and
clean inside and out. Available for $7.
Sellers, J.F., "D-C Armature and Field-Coil Repair" International Textbook
Company, 1942. The 220+ page hardbound book is in very good condition, clean
with no page tears or pen marks and a strong binding. A nice early text for the
electrician. Available for $5.
Cook, Arthur L., "Elements of Electrical Engineering, A Textbook of Principles
and Practice" John Wiley, 1935. Third edition. The 603 page hardbound book is
in very good condition, clean with no page tears or pen marks except for a
previous owners name inside the front cover, and a few pencil notes inside the
rear cover. A nice early Electrical Engineering text. Available for $7.
Knowlton, Archer E. (Editor) "Standard Handbook for Electrical Engineers"
McGraw-Hill, 1949. Eighth Edition. The 2311 page hardbound book is in very good
condition, clean with no page tears or pen marks, and a strong binding. A look
at the state-of-the-art of electrical engineering in the 1940's. A particularly
nice copy. Available for $12.
Fowle, Frank F., "Standard Handbook for Electrical Engineers, 6th Edition"
McGraw-Hill, 1933. Sixth Edition. The 2816 page hardbound book is in very good
condition, clean with no page tears or pen marks except for a previous owners
name inside the front cover. Burgundy cloth covers with gold lettering on the
spine and front cover, gold gilt on the page ends. A very nice early edition of
the handbook. Available for $15.
Ricker, C.W. and Carlton E. Tucker "Electrical Engineering Laboratory
Experiments" McGraw-Hill, 1927. The 310 page hardbound book is in near fine
condition, fresh and clean inside and out except for a previous owners name
stamp on the title page. A very nice early text for student experiments in an
Electrical Engineering Laboratory. Available for $9.
Plonus, Martin "Applied Electromagnetics" Burr Ridge, IL, U.S.A.: McGraw-Hill
Higher Education, 1978. ISBN: 0070503451 The 615 page hardbound book is in very
good condition, clean with no page tears or pen marks, and a strong binding.
Thorough treatment of electromagnetics, with an emphasis on the practical side.
Available for $18.
Smith, Arthur Whitmore "Electrical Measurements in Theory and Applications"
McGraw-Hill, 1924. Second edition, second impression. The 338 page hardbound
book is in fine condition, fresh and clean inside and out except for a previous
owners name stamps inside the front and rear covers. A particularly nice copy.
Available for $9.
Bishop, Calvin C. "Alternating Currents for Technical Students" D. Van
Nostrand, 1931. Second printing. The 317 page hardbound book is in very good+
condition, clean with no page tears or pen marks, and a strong binding. "Covers
the fundamental principles of alternating current theory, circuits and
apparatus" for technical and vocational students. Available for $5.
Kerchner, Russell M. and George F. Corcoran "Alternating-Current Circuits" John
Wiley & Sons, 1955 Third edition. The 508 page hardbound book is in good+
condition. There is a previous owners name and address inside the front cover,
and occasional pencil marks or notes in the margins, but otherwise in decent
condition. A nice older electrical engineering text on alternating-currents.

Croft, Terrell "Wiring of Finished Buildings: A Practical Treatise, Dealing
with the Commercial and the Technical Phases of the Subject, For the
Central-Station Man, Electrical Contractor and Wireman" McGraw-Hill, 1915.
First edition. The 275 page hardbound book is in good+ condition, clean with no
page tears or pen marks except for a previous owners name in pencil inside the
front cover. A nice early look at being an electrician. Available for $8.
Spring, K.H. "Direct Generation of Electricity" Academic Press, 1965. The 410
page hardbound book is in good+ condition. It is an ex-library copy from a
corporate library, with a card pouch inside the rear cover, and the usual
stamps and stickers. Otherwise in decent condition. Available for $4.
Sloane, T. O'Connor "Electricity Simplified, A Treatise Covering the Practice
and Theory of Electricity" Norman W. Henley Publishing, 1920. The 218 page
hardbound book is in very good+ condition, clean with no page tears or pen
marks, and a strong binding. Includes a 40 page catalogue of practical and
mechanical books in the rear. Available for $10.
Mendenhall, T.C. "A Century of Electricity" Houghton, Mifflin & Co., 1887. The
229 page hardbound book is in very good condition, clean with no page tears or
pen marks except for a previous owners name stamp on the title page and inside
the front cover. Cloth covers show some wear, with a few small cracks in the
cloth along the spine area, but very solid and tight inside. An interesting
look at the applications of electricity towards the end of the 1800's.
