According to Yangjiang Plan and Construction bureau, there will be
eleven public parking lots built in the downtown of Yangjiang. Three
of them have started construction.
According to city plan, each size of parking space is 25 square
meters. 11 new parking lots will increase 2,500 parking spaces for the
downtown. To some extent, the new parking lots will help to ease the
problems of insufficient parking spaces.
To answer insufficient parking spaces in existing residential area,
the speakers from Urban Plan and Construction Bureau said, they will
strictly control the real estate planning. To go with the provincial
planning and allocate enough parking spaces in every new residential
area.
According to the city plan, southern city is a new developing area;
there is more affluent land to build parking lots. The parking lots
must be built in shopping centers, sports & cultural entertainment
centers, hotels, parks, office buildings, theaters, etc., .
