Anyone else want to be POINTKeeper?

Thus making it last twice as long??
And no, I do not want the job again.
Or I will make the winner at 2 points, another power of 2.

in the interest of keeping me from winning the next one,
I recommend one of the following 3 possibilities:
1. end the game at 1 Googol of points ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Googol )
2. I'll post some of the jokes as Purrt, since she's a bit used to someone posting in her name.
3. (you'll hate me for this probably) You guys play this game in honor & memory of your fallen
comrade - Copper Squirel. have you ever given thought to laying the game to rest as he
has been resting all these years ? or else to hold 1 game per year, starting at his birth date
and ending at the next birthday, with the winner being simply (s)he who gets most points
rather than a set number of points ?

The Point Game was being played during Copper's lifetime. On his
death, we changed things likely in that Copper Points were now
available for the kinds of things Copper would have posted. However
it is not and never was played in his honour.

OK, forget I said anything. now's my chance to make people laugh and brighten their day
while they squable over who gets to keep score

Oh, I'll keep score if no one else volunteers. I never win, but
at least that way I get to make up the rules. :>
(Pointkeeper gets to pick where the game starts and ends. Some
pick dates, some pick a particular total. Some count all points,
some count only certain kinds of points. S/He who manages the
game makes the rules.)
Me, control freak? Naaaaaahhhh...
