Post subject: English Men Of Letters query
Archived from groups: rec>collecting>books (more info?)

I thought my 39 volume set of the "English Men Of Letters" series was complete
until I came across a "Thomas Hardy" published in 1941. Does anyone know how
many volumes there are in the complete set and when the last volume was
published?

Many thanks for any information.

Jonathan

P.S. I did put this query into "Askjeeves.com" and came up with:

"English Men: Chat, Flirt & Meet 8m Singles Today The Only Thing Missing is
You!"

which really was not what I was after...

But some of them are quite late. ie Blunden 1941, R.L.Stephenson
1939. A website on Morley, an interesting character in his own

How that squares with the following, or your own collection

I can't say.
