a copy of the BBC Lord of the Rings Radio Dramatization, which has
been released by BBC Audiobooks America on September 9, 2008.

If you live in America or Canada enter the contest to win one of the

Of course I think it's . . . hmm . . . chauvinist? . . . to preclude
all us poor wrecks outside the US and Canada (I did, naturally, make a
submission, just on principle <GG>), but still, well done, Derek!

It is, but of course it had something to do with being "BBC Audiobooks
America" and who they're marketing to.

So I started listening on Tuesday, and what a surprise - no Tom
Bombadil, Old Man Willow or Barrow Downs there either! (Not really
surprising, I guess, since it's about the same length as Jackson's
movie trilogy).
