In the Eternity universe/Reality, Atomic bombs weren't detonated until
the 30th century. How would the lack of nuclear weapons have affected
the history of the 20th century?
However, there were nuclear power plants by the 24th century. They were
used to power the first Temporal Field generators. It took over a
century to extend a thin Temporal Field far enough uptime to tap the
energy of Nova Sol. This energy made it possible to make the field
large enough to hold a man, and eventually create Eternity. How was it
that there was nuclear power by the 24th century, yet no nuclear weapons
until the 30th century? >> Stay informed about: Eternity Universe Alternate History |

Presumably the principles behind nuclear fission were developed only after
some kind of world government was in place, so no one thought it worthwhile
to try to engineer an atomic bomb, there being no use for one.

Eternity's job was to manipulate everything to achieve societies that
wouldn't naturally exist. >> Stay informed about: Eternity Universe Alternate History |

No, not really. After all, that whole future is eventually wiped out
in favour of one with a high probability of irradiating most of Earth. >> Stay informed about: Eternity Universe Alternate History |

I urge that Andrew Harlan and Noys Lambent contribute heavily to peace
movements in an effort to prevent nuclear war. I'm confident that with
their knowledge of 20th century history, they would have gotten very
rich. >> Stay informed about: Eternity Universe Alternate History |

Eternity wasn't fully operational until the 27th century, giving the
Primatives 3 centuries to develop nuclear weapons before Eternity could stop
them. >> Stay informed about: Eternity Universe Alternate History |

Noys Viewed the Reality of her life with Andrew before embarking on her mission
to destroy Eternity. This would give her knowledge of the 20th century with
nuclear weapons, and knowledge of what actions to take to become filthy rich. >> Stay informed about: Eternity Universe Alternate History |

Their knowledge is of 20th century history without nuclear weapons and
certainly different in other ways as well.
