Post subject: Excerpt: Noble Vision -- A Free-Market Medical Thriller!
Archived from groups: alt>books>purefiction (more info?)

I have permission from Winged Victory Press to offer an
excerpt from the new book, "Noble Vision," a thinking
person's thriller that blends medicine, romance, and
individualism. The book has been praised by both the
medical community and free-market luminaries such as Milton
Friedman, Walter Williams, and Steve Forbes.

"Noble Vision" is the story of brain surgeon David Lang, on
trial for performing unauthorized surgery under a state-run
healthcare system. Author Genevieve "Gen" LaGreca holds
degrees in chemistry and philosophy. She has worked as a
pharmaceutical chemist, business owner, and healthcare
writer. She writes accurately *about* the human brain *for*
those who enjoy using theirs.

The excerpt I am distributing involves a terse exchange
between the head of a state-run research bureau and Dr.
David Lang. The surgeon is seeking permission to complete
trials on a procedure to regenerate damaged nerve tissue --
trials that involve pharmaceutical research, a new surgical
procedure, and animal testing. The scene illustrates both
the author's talent and the novel's motive force. The
excerpt is short, sharp, and surgically precise.

To get the excerpt from Gen LaGreca's "Noble Vision,"
simply send mailto:excerpts@authorviews.com with the
subject line "Send Noble Vision," and I will reply with the
text -- and *only* the text -- NO file attachments or opt-
in mailing list jive. The excerpt is also being featured
this month by Laissez Faire Books at lfb.com. Enjoy!
