Post subject: Excerpt: Can Psychics Prevent Terror Attacks?
Archived from groups: alt>book, others (more info?)

I have permission from Hats Off Books to offer an excerpt from the new
book, "Continuum," a novel that poses the intriguing question, "Can
psychics predict or prevent global terrorist attacks?"

Psychics are suddenly being taken seriously, with clairvoyants
routinely called upon to assist in police investigations. "Continuum"
builds on this premise with the fictional tale of twin souls born
minutes apart in separate cities. Both young women have the mysterious
power to see future events. At age 27, these female visionaries learn
of an impending biological terror attack against the United States.
Each twin must use her unique gift to stop the attack as authorities
work to capture the terrorists.

The excerpt I am distributing takes place in New Orleans and details
the romantic beginning of an affair between visionary Angela Atwood and
Hakan Ozturk, a scientist secretly working for the terrorist
organization Al-Saafi. Angela knows her growing influence on Ozturk
could possibly alter his evil plan and protect the United States from
biological disaster. The excerpt ends in a suspenseful tone that is
carried throughout the remainder of the novel.

To get the excerpt from Marlys Beider's "Continuum,"
simply send mailto:excerpts@authorviews.com with the
subject line "Send Continuum," and I will reply with the
text -- and *only* the text -- NO file attachments or opt-
in mailing list jive. Enjoy...
