I am trying to "find" a series of American, historical novels. I believe they
may have been written for a "juvenile" readership. The subjects of the series
include the French & Indian Wars, The Revolutionary War and the Civil War. The
series includes at least ten novels. Characters or their descendants cross
over from one historical period (and book or books) to another. The author
either made up the term "frontiersman's walk" or used the term, if in fact it
is an historically accurate term. The books may be out of print. I read them in
the early 50s and am trying to rediscover them for a kid with an avid interest
in history. Can you help? Hope so.
