Hi folks, longtime lurker here with finally something to contribute:

I seem to recall that in Shards of a Broken Crown Pug says something
along the lines of relations still being strained with the Tsurani
Empire on account of Makala. So my question is this: why should this
be the case after 30 or 40 years? Unless I'm mistaken, Makala's
betrayal took place soon after the elimination of the Minwanabi and
therefore before Mara's reforms and the coronation of the
half-Midkemian Justin, right?
