Add my vote to that. I enjoy pretty well all of your books, but Faerie
Tale was my favourite. I'd love to see something new in a similar style
one day.

Cheers,

Please do -- I like the Midkemia stuff, but I would easily class /Faerie
Tale/ as the (for me) best of your books that I have read Wink

That would be interesting . . .

Oh, I already had my hopes up that we'd see Midkemia on big screen. The
recent new wave of fantasy with LOTR has already given Guy Gavriel Kay an
opportunity for a movie and I truly think that you deserve the same
chance!

There's always talk going on. I've optioned things before, and the
rights have reverted. It's an on going process, and as such you don't
make announcements on anything until the project reaches a certain
degree of cohesion. Heinlein's Moon Is A Harsh Mistress, for example,
has been in development for at least two years and they are no close to
shooting than they were when the option was done, as I hear it.

So, if something breaks, you'll hear about it.

Rise of a Merchant Prince - Ok, I just finished RoMP. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I like the fact that it was mostly based in Krodor and dealt primarily with Roo's rise to power. While I felt it relied a bit more on chance (the locust plague) it was great to see Roo in..

Signings for Prince of the Blood? - Does anybody know if there will be book signings scheduled for when the preferred edition of Prince of the Blood comes out? I haven't seen anything on Mysterious Galaxy's website yet, nor on www.crydee.com, and Spectra doesn't have an easy link to..

Prince of the Blood: Revised edition ? - Hello all, I just noticed on crydee.com that there's a revised edition out of Prince of the Blood. Apparently, it's been out since 2004. I checked Feistfans FAQ and it's not mentioned in there. Can anyone (Ray ?) shed some light on what the revisions...

Prince Of The Blood and King's Buccaneer - Haven't seen a revamped Prince yet (sod it, I'll grab one in Borders in Leeds on Ray's visit and get it signed) but I've rescued those two hardbacks from my dad's house, so my REF collection here is now complete... Can't wait to reread them, but first,...

just finished silverthorn - i just finished silverthorn and although i've read it many moons ago. a question just stirred inside me. what is the conflict between the temples of midkemia? it sounds like everyone's scared of the ishapian faith.
