Post subject: Tolkien First Day Cover (UK)

My husband collects Royal Mail first day covers, so we've recently
received the new LOTR issue, which commemorates the 50th anniversary
of publication of FOTR (and has nothing whatever to do with the
films). The cover bears 10 first class stamps, 9 of illustrations by
JRRT and one of a map by Christopher Tolkien. The postmark - "first
day of issue - Oxford - 26.2.2004" - bears a line drawing of the white
tree and seven stars. The stamps are available in various
presentation formats, including as postcards, from Royal Mail:
