I had requested Michael do so on a number of occasions, and appears to have
complied (for now) because I finally had had it up to here with his posts
and killfiled him and threatened that if he modified his headers to get past
killfiles, I'd send such posts on to his ISP. I didn't want to bring out
the club, but apparently that's what it takes to get it through the heads of
certain individuals.

To be fair, I would hardly compare the two. I generally don't read the
OT posts, but the on topic posts I've seen of Michael's clearly show
firm understading of Tolkien, even if he comes up with some, shall I
say, unconventional theories. .

To avoid an ad hominem attack, I'll just say that I've killfiled the
other gentleman.
