I believe this is the same for musicians as well.

Yes. I print it off first, but yes I can - but you see, I can't actually
not proof-read - I don't have to make a conscious effort to spot typos,
I see them without trying all the time when I'm reading, whatever I'm
reading... To me, proof-reading something is the same as reading it and
is as natural as breathing !

My conscience forces me to confess that in a "Peter Pan moment" I
rewrote parts of the above quotes previously attributed to Michele Fry,
hence the change in the second attribution line. Michele spotted the
mistakes that I added to the section quoted from her post, but I don't
know if anyone else did. Her original post was, of course, free of any
such errors, which were entirely due to me. Sorry, Michele!

Sickle of the Valar was to remind me that I made 7 alterations. If I may
now quote a certain Voldemort: "Some corrections have been noted [and
have now been reverted] on an amanuensis copy of the texts."
