My husband is wanting some Anne Rice books for Christmas. He is
really wanting to focus on the one's based in New Orleans. I haven't
really read any of her books. Can anyone help me out and tell me
which ones are mainly set in N'Awlins? Thanks

The Vampire Chronicles, especially the earlier books, and the Witching Hour
are based pretty much in New Orleans. But really all of her books seem to
stay in New Orleans or Paris. I know that's really general, but oh well.

The Vampire Chroncles always mention New Orleans somewhere, but not
all of them take place there. Interview with the Vampire does place
there (at least 18th and 19th century New Orleans), as well as Merrick
(modern New Orleans), Blackwood Farm (modern New Orleans), and Blood
Canticle (modern New Orleans). Feast of All Saints, one of Rice's
historical novels, takes place in New Orleans, as far as I know. I
hope this helps you out.
Take care,
