An Old Friend Shows up..

A off-tune 'poof' sound is heard, immediately followed by a medium
sized purplish-colored cloud appearing about 3 feet off the floor.

A Purple Kat falls graceless-ly out of the cloud and lands in a heap
on the floor.

Her fur is all different directions and it looks like she could use
not only a good grooming but a good meal (or 2).

"Sorry about that" she says, refering to the purple cloud, "but life
got a hold of my tail and wouldn't let go. It took the appearance of a
Job From The Deepest Hole and it's sidekicks No Benefits and No
Vacation. It somehow also recruited Baby Ulcer to help it. So I had to
go through several warp jumps and a few dimentional side slips to
escape it."

Giving herself a good shake she walks shakily over to a table -
decides she is in no condition to jump up that distance (right now) -
plops down and begins to give herself a good grooming.

Somehow seeming to both groom and speak at the same time she said "So,
have I missed anything in the past months??"

She pauses and a small dish of milk and a lovely array of fresh sushi
appears next to her.

Need a helping paw with that? I think I'm a bit larger than
you so I'll be careful.

Glad to see you've made it back to ABML. I've had some time
off lately too - doing way too many tax returns this past
month left time to not do anything else!
