Ooops. Sorry. I've been flipping back and forth between the Sox NG
and DW NG and obviously must have been in the "wrong" NG when
I posted these 2 posts.

My bad.

Yet, of course, it's not *entirely* off topic - Honor Harrington
having become a baseball fan after being introduced to it on Grayson!

The burning quesiton that comes to mind is "Are the Chicago Cubs still
waiting to win the World Series?"

Unclear, but it seems that the devastation of the Final War has led to
the loss of a great deal of humanity's heritage on Earth, so there is
reason to believe the World Series is no longer being held in Honor
Harrington's time.

Otherwise, her ship's computers presumably would have been able to
tell her more about baseball than she would ever want to ask - even if
the computer technology in the Honor Harrington series isn't modelled
on Star Trek's.
