Hi Jim, hi Tam,
A friend of mine from another group lurks on ABDK and sent me Jim's
suggestions for my computer. I've tried everything I know how to get it
past the start-up screen. Nothing happens with F8, F9 or F10 even. It just
sits there dead as a doornail. I believe we must have damaged something
hardware related when we were installing the new DVD player because I even
took it out and put the old one back in again and the same thing happens.
But, thanks for your suggestions. It's going to the shop as soon as we get
all these holidays over. I just do not have the mental energy nor time
right now to reinstall Agent (my newsgroup reader) and reconfigure it again.
I might try using OE when I can catch my breath and figure out how.
Hope everyone is well.
Gayle
