The only one he's mentioned that I've seen any evidence for is Hoover, who
never married and had the same male "constant companion" for 40 years. His
cross-dressing, on the other hand, is almost certainly nonsense. >> Stay informed about: Gays In Asimov Books |

Quite, although Herbert Hoover was involved in a call-boy scandal
before he became president. >> Stay informed about: Gays In Asimov Books |

So tell us--did Hoover ever get it on with Hoover? Inquiring minds want
to know!
I suppose it would be too much to ask for a cite?
Other famous homosexuals: W.H. "Boss" Hoover, the vacuum cleaner
magnate; Larry Hoover, of the Gangsta Disciples; and Dr. E. S. Hoover,
inventer of prioritized telephone switching, who is clearly a
cross-dresser if you've ever seen a picture. >> Stay informed about: Gays In Asimov Books |

To clarify, this is referring to J. Edgar Hoover, not Herbert Hoover.

You thought you were kidding, but see his reply to that. You can't
parody a true kook; he's already done the job himself, better than
anyone else ever could.

Should be easy. Let's just quiz him a little about the relationship
between Moses and Joshua, and I'll bet ten shekels that Bjorn
Stronginthearm turns out to be sib to one of your parents.

You are right to be dubious, and my expression was too condensed. I
should have said the extreme Right, or the Right under pressure of
Communism. This is especially true of the Right in Germany, France and
the Low Countries, where religious belief is particularly weak because
of the French Revolution and a high level of education. In eastern
Europe and to some extent in southern Europe the Right still has
important religious links. England is a special case, but now resembles
Germany in this respect. But in imitation of America there is an
evangelical movement there. >> Stay informed about: Gays In Asimov Books |

right somewhat dubious, to say the least.

Is he trolling himself? I KF'd him almost immediately, so I have only
seen him in others' replies.
