The Geranium on the Window Sill Died But Teacher You Went Right On
by Albert Cullum

This is an interesting little book of short poems accompanied by vibrant
color illustrations by 29 different artists that is “dedicated to all
grownups who, as children, died in the arms of compulsory education.” If you
had or your children have trouble in school, or even if you or they didn’t,
this is an enlightening book. The dedication page features the author’s
signature, but I can’t tell if it’s actually signed or printed. Harlan Quist
books are some of the most amazing productions imaginable. This book goes
for some incredible prices on the Internet (up to $95) and right now, there
isn’t a copy priced lower than this one.

Harlan Quist, Inc., New York, 1971, 8th printing, 64 pages, 9” x 6”, trade
paperback, illustrated.
