Where is everybody? Took a stroll thru the village this afternoon. It
looked like a Hollywood filmset after the shooting is done. Even the
piranha's were gone from the pond...

It's the salt spray from the fish & chip cart getting into the intakes.

I have examined this plan, and it has some merit.

Do NOT worry the bats, they're worried quite enough under what
passes for normal[1] circumstances around here.

You need maritime-grade engines. I've told you before. The fact that the
Abon and Drakewater are both freshwater under normal circumstances isn't
really useful, given how rare normal circumstances are around here.

Pah. Cast iron was good enough for great-grand-'wig...
(And lead. Lots of lead, with those new high-thrust engines. Oh all
RIGHT, the fuel can be reserved for dragon-kibble, but only if
equivalent engines of fewer Sunshine Units can be provided...)

A horrible thing to do to a diced carrot. 3:O(>

Given the usual garlic content of those, I'd better put the warning
signs up at the ford again: Gas Leak, No Naked Flames. Otherwise
we might find visitors getting blown clear to Biventry.

The Librarian and her husband have been visiting the newest member of the family, Teresa Jacqueline who is now 2 days old. She was born by caesarian section Friday evening, 2 weeks early. Tess weighed in at 9 pounds, 11 ounces and is 21 inches long. And of course, she's the most beautiful baby in the universe. Mom & child are both doing well. Grandparents are having trouble finding the ground to walk upon.

Congratulations! Felicitations! and any other "ations" as are
appropriate. And have a nice longish walking stick, so you can punt
along through the air.
