Hi all,

I have been a sci-fi fantasy lit fan for the majority of my life. My
introduction to the genre was with the novel 'AWrinkle In Time' by Madeline
L'Engle. From that moment on I was hooked. It was only 2 years ago I
discovered that she had written sequels to this book(which I promptly bought
through ebay).

I have to admit that I found the novel 'Magician' in an op shop. I had never
heard of Raymond E Feist. Once I started to read I had alot of trouble
putting it down. This has continued to be the case for more years than I
care to think about. Initally I had alot of trouble finding any other novel
by him. Not in the library or book shops. But thankfully that's no longer
the case. My 'Feist Library' is on prominant display in my lounge room.

Now I have my eldest son (14 years old) hooked on Midkemia. I gave him my
well worn (starting to fall apart from too much love) and well read copy of
Magician (old copy not the revised copy) 4 weeks ago. He is now halfway
through a Darkness at Sethanon. Like mother like son!!

Thank you Mr Feist for introducing the use of imagination into my sons life.
In the highly technical world that we live in, it is wonderful to see my son
engrossed a in a book.

You rock!!!

You can also download Betrayal at Krondor PC game from Internet for your son
(or you Wink. It's still one of best games ever made, it's art in it's highest
form. It's not entertainment. This game made me read Mr. Feist books. I have
more then 10, some hard cover.

Group, which is latest piece from Mr. Feist? I have read all Krondor and
Serpent War saga books - is there any more action in Krondor? Make me a
recomendetation, thanks.

If you're finished with Krondor, then comes the Conclave of Shadows:
Talon of the Silver Hawk, King of Foxes, and Exile's Return. That will
be followed by The Darkwar Saga, book I (untitled) which I am writing
now.

Best, R.E.F.

I would highly recommend the book by Ray and Bill Forstchen called
'Honoured Enemy' in the 'Legends of the Riftwar' series. I have all three
in the series and have only 30 or so pages left in this book. It's an
amazing work, I like this dual effort, you can really feel the world of
Midkemia with Ray as well as the intimacy of Bill's writing.

I'm looking forward to the other two books!

Matt

(unfortunaly they are available only from the UK amazon, but the cost is
worth it so far.)

Thank you Mario. He is well and truly hooked. I think that I'll tell him
about the PC games 'after' he has finished reading. But I will download game
anyway.

Just finished Exile's Return and I'm a little confused by this
statement Raymond. Is there another book in this series (as I was
under the impression it was the penultimate book) or is it the last
book and you are embarking on a new series?

Keep up the good work. Loved Exile's Return.

Regards,

Wayne...

Conclave is the setup series for the third riftwar, The Darkwar.

So, three more books after Exile.

Best, R.E.F.
