Thanks, Purrt and Megan.

I had a lovely day. Himself took the day off from work so that we
could have a leisurely lunch at our favourite restaurant, then went
Christmas Shopping for the Little Goddesses which was fun.

Why do kids get to receive all the fun gifts to shop for? So much
more fun to shop for kid gifts than adult gifts.

every 'kid' deserves at least one toy to play with on Christmas/birthday
regardless of age! go ahead and buy a fun toy(yo yo, top/gyroscope, wind-up
toy, etc.) for the seasoned 'kids', it will give them something to do while
waiting for the other folks to open their gifts.

[snort] I suspect "fun" generally only happens to women when shopping.......

Unless the shopping is accomplished in a hardware super-store, like Home
Depot.....

And Belated Happy Birthday, Mummy! Have some Death-by-Chocolate cake.

I like shopping for my Little (well, not so little now as Athena is
almost as tall as I am) Goddesses at any time. I don't enjoy most
other kinds of shopping but shopping for them is FUN!

Thanks. You can keep the chococococococolate bar and enjoy it
yourself, though. I don't indulge these days (not even in Virtual
Chococococococolate) as even a little seems to lead to a binge which
is not good for me.
