Oh yes. Not only have I told him so, I refused to tell him it was
'ok' when he started talking about how guilty he felt. I haven't
*quite* threatened to mention it to his Mother but he knows that's an
option if he gets THAT clueless again.

It's such a great feeling to know that I Can Do It.

You'll get there, dear. You seem to be well on the way towards
finding your own Path.

Hugs

He went a long way towards redeeming himself today.

It was PayDay. Instead of putting aside a large chunk of money for
his Christmas Gift To Himself as he had planned, he handed me the
large chunk to be 'the rest of my Birthday Gift'. As well as the
first installment of my Christmas Gift (the airfares to go and stay
with some of my dearest friends in January for a 4-day stretch while
He looks after the Goddesses on his own). My spending money for said
trip to come from the next pay since that pretty much blew all the
spare Cash from this pay.

Even more - he looked at the budget and figured out (on his own,
without help even!) that his planned Trip Away in late January (for a
War Games convention) just wasn't affordable if I was going away
earlier - and he gave up his own trip. He didn't even ask me, just
decided to Do It.

It might take a while, but he did do what he could to remedy the
situation. We're much more in harmony tonight.

MUCH better. Got to give the guy points for stylish recovery after a
really REALLY bad screw up. I'd say he is ready for the possibility
of forgiveness in the future. <g>

Sorry about the family things. They seem to come in droves, don't
they?
