This is in fact the first Tolkmas that there is no one on Earth
documentably (as opposed to allegedly) older than he left alive.
Emiliano Mercado del Toro,born August 21st 1891,
was the last,dying last January 24th.
JRRT would have been 116 today...and probably still tinkering
with still-unpublished legends of the Elder Days.
