This is my first time posting through Google Groups, so I hope this
works okay.

Happy New Year to all in the village.

Here's hoping 2006 is a happy and healthy one for all!

Addendum:

This is my second attempt at sending this message. The first time it
bounced.....

And a belated Happy New Year to Canada, or as my 1st
grade teacher insisted we learn, "Une bonne annee"
probably spelled incorrectly but the spirit is
willing. And I'm hoping you're willing to keep that
next blast of "Canadian air" up with you:-)
After a very nippy early December we're more or less
back to normalish 40ish degrees F weather; actually I
don't mind the cool, I just hate living where people
can't handle the white stuff. One snow flake and
there go the schools, everything is cancelled and the
grocery store is allegedly out of milk, bread and
toilet paper.

Bonne année is correct - just missing an accent <g>. (I've tried to
put it in - but I'm not sure how it will display.)

As for sharing our frigid Canadian air - well, it has been around 3
degrees (C) above freezing, so it doesn't sound as if we're that far
off right now. Most of our snow has melted, and (fingers crossed) we're
not expecting any more soon. Since I'm flying to GAFilk on Friday, I
hope it stays that way!

lot of snow everywhere)

it
behave:-)

Have a wonderful time and here's hoping the weather
stays decent. We're supposed hit 50ish today and then
back to close to freezing on the weekend, no
precipitation scheduled here although we have fog this
morning.
