Definitely unwell, if you've failed to slurp that robot.
_DO_ get well soon. Sneezing dragons tend to leave circular
scorch marks on the opposite side of the valley, which attracts
the attention of the crop-circle mob - you'd think they'd have
realised by now that this village is "normal" only in the
geometrical sense of being at a right-angle to reality.

Very probably, I'm afraid.
Oh well, the Milk Marketing Board will no doubt get the blame.

Drake 'flu (or should that be flue?) - worse than Man 'flu.
Plus, when a Drake sneezes, half the fire alarms in the district go off (the
other half having been incinerated by the sneeze, you understand.)
May everyone have a fine and dandy new year, and would anyone like to see my
Christmas Pressie? A paperweight from Phillip Island, darnunder, wot my Mum
and Dad got whilst they were there visiting the Great-Aunt - the paperweight
featured two somewhat resigned looking penguins bobbing up and down on the
liquid that half-fills the thing. For the bewebbed, there is a photograph
here:

That's about where our temps were, but around here below freezing is not very common for any length of time. And three snowflakes cause a panic, partially because the roads are so crowded that anything that can cause a slowdown just sends everyone into hysterics. Not to mention the fact that since the weather is not usually drastic, they try to get by with as little snow removal equipment as possible to save money.

Talked to my parents in Northeastern Connecticut yesterday, they've got over a foot of snow and when they went to mass it was 4F. What a difference 450 miles north and east makes.
I've always wanted to see Scotland is it as beautiful as the pictures in the tour books?

Do you have web access? The following link is to a picture a friend
took from Glenfinnan Viaduct, which isn't too far from here, in
December 2008. It isn't from a guide book...
http://www.brianhowlett.me.uk/temp/Glenfinnan.jpg
That's pretty typical of the sort of weather we've been having here.
Global Warming? No. Climate Change? Possibly. I don't remember such a
sustained spell of cold weather for many years, caused by the high
pressure we've been getting in winter instead of summer.

Wow! That is definitely a lovely view, I think I'll leave the picture up on the home machine for a while if you don't mind. And drool over it, but I can see where the temperatures might be a bit coolish. Given a choice though, I always opt for cold rather than hot---you can always add layers or dress in water resistant outerwear but when it gets hot and nasty, there's a limit to what you can take off:-)
Every now and then, my hubby starts talking about retiring to Florida and I get the shakes. 1) It's too hot 2) and possibly even more important--it's too flat. I grew up in northeastern Connecticut, hills and streams everywhere. This section of Virginia has some hills and luckily there are mountains not too far away but Florida looks as though someone had been working at it with an extra large rolling pin. So if I end up staying there too long, I start worrying about falling off the blasted state.
Thanks for sharing the picture,
