Hey do you folks understand that these books are works of fiction? The
author did not write them to translate any part of the bible. I believe
she meant them to be pure fantasy and, escapism. They are a great read!
I suggest the Vatican People, especially the pope read books before
condemning them, he might even enjoy them!
By the way, before she wrote and got these books published JK Rawlings
was a homeless woman with children to raise! The adage goes: God helps
those who help themselves; She did and, He provided! The troll should
remember that too!

So are "The Turner Diaries" and "Slave Girl of Gor". A book is not
necessarily free of evil or dishonesty merely because it is formally a
work of fiction.

I agree, however, that there is nothing wrong about the Harry Potter
books, and I speak here as an instructed Christian. Great fun, in fact,
and saner than a lot of recent kidlit.
