Hi all,

I've had some half remembered lines running through my head for about a
year now.

Looked through my collection (though much of it is in storage),
bookstores and online and I can't find it.

I don't know if it's from a poem or a short story but the end is about a
beggar w/o legs living in the bushes outside a racetrack always bets
what people give him on the long shots at the track.

Anyone know what this is from and what book? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

Didn't find the particular one from this volume I was looking for from
the poems available on the net. I'll take a closer look next time I'm
in the book store.

Thanks for the tip Smile
