Archived from groups: alt>books>beatgeneration (more info?)

The Henry Miller Library hosts the Annual Big Sur International Short
Film Screening Series.

For the year 2007 screenings I entered a short film. I never got a
reply regarding either receipt of the film or of a donation I made to
the Series. I had to phone them to find out whether they received
shipment.

Then, of whether the film was selected or not, I heard nothing.
Nothing on their website. Nothing in the mail. Nothing through the
phone.

It's a shabby way of treating people who invest their time and money
to participate in a film event.

I will certainly never again take part in it, and suggest unless you
can spare the time and money without expecting "professional",
considerate treatment that you don't either.

- P. M.
