Just what are the differences? There is an "Interlude" added at the
beginning and an afterword to the essay at the end, but are there
any changes in the original text? I scanned through it, but didn't
notice anything unfamiliar, but I could easily miss paragraph
rewrites.

The changes in the body of the book are pretty subtle, mostly,
although I do think Julianne is right that there are a few new
paragraphs dotted around. Most of the changes I noticed were in the
nature of word choice though, and you'd have to be an obsessive person
like me to notice them. =o)

I'm not sure, but I thought that this one had more rewritten. I know I
saw some completely new paragraphs in there and some changes... I guess
I'll just have to read it again with the original next to me...

I haven't got my original HD with me and I have displayed symptoms of
PSSA (premature senility strikes again), so I can't be sure, but I
don't remember Morgan's seeing Richenda when he and Duncan are
sneaking into the Bishop's Palace in the original. This occurs in
chapter eight in the new HD. I don't have a (hardcover) page number
because I'm reading the electronic version. (And YIPPEE! I say - it's
searchable!)

I haven't read my hardcover of the new version yet, and I remember that
part, so I'd have to say the Nerd is right! Not that I doubted...

There are subtle changes and I know I ran across something that seemed new
(didn't mark down where sorry!) I noticed there seemed to be more descriptive
detail (I could be wrong) but when Kelson is out in the field in his tent and
they have a meeting - it just seems much more detailed.
