black and white photographic plates, and 20 drawings. Forewords by Sir
Charles Tennyson and George W. Odey. Quarto (11 1/4" x 8") in green
cloth, decoration on cover in gilt, gilt title on rust label on spine,
other spine lettering in gilt, top edge gilt. 320 pp. including
Bibliography and Index. Two staple punctures on the front free
endpaper, short ink note on the half-title, moderate wear on the
extremities. A very good plus
copy with a worn and torn dust jacket folded and laid into the book.
