Yesterday afternoon, Monday December 17th, I deposited the ABML cards
into the mail, including the overseas folks'. Just the busiest mail day
in the USofA (according to the TV talking news heads).

I guess that counts as the Christmas / New Years / Chanukah kinda sorta
time of year.

Mine finally got sent today - Thursday 20th. John's probably has a
chance to get there on time since that's 'only' half-way across the
country. Ray's is not a problem since she's currently visiting her
parents and will be coming to visit ME tomorrow (and I'll get to meet
young Theo - YAY) The rest of you...well, hopefully they will arrive
before New Year.

I am afraid mine are not out yet, hope you will all forgive me, I WILL
send them soon, it's just... with all we had to take care after
Olivier's mum died, as well as problems with his sister, I really had
few time to take care of that...

And I am really sorry, because I already got a good part of yours...

Aphrael...
(usually more prompt too, and really really sorry)

Well, we didn't exactly specify *which* holiday, so lateness of
mailing is not a problem.

My sister-in-law emailed that a package was sent Tuesday and hopefully
it would be here by Monday. She was wrong, it came today! Washington
state to Pennsylvania in two days.

That seems to be about the usual time frame, if you have a good mail
carrier. I get things from Ohio to California in 2 days, all the time.
And then there's the box that I sent TO Ohio, ahead of us, 2 weeks ago,
that somehow took 5 days to arrive, even though it was Priority Mail 2-3
days. Grrr But then that mail carrier is known for letting things sit at
the post office because he's too lazy to deliver them.

I got your card yesterday.
