LILITH. Well, maybe bits of Swinburne.

Should perhaps have added that I don't recommend them all, but I did love
All Hallows' Eve (better when reread than the first time) and Descent Into
Hell, and I give The Greater Trumps to my friends who are into Tarot. Well,
some of them. I know far too many people into Tarot....

Who wrote "Voyage to Arcturus" ? I used to have that and another by the same
author, "The Haunted Lady." Definitely in the Williams-Lewis (Perelandra)
corner of the reading room.
With, maybe, Jurgen. (But Cabell's from a rather pagan p.o.v. -- which is
refreshing.) And de la Mare's The Three Mulla-Mulgars, though I despair of
finding another copy with the gorgeous illustrations of the first edition my
father owned.

Well, if you liked it, you will probably also like his "Haunted Lady,"
Lewis's Perelandra trilogy (at least the first two), and the two Williams's
I mentioned.

My favourite Williams books are "The place of the lion", "War in heaven" and
"The greater trumps".

I've read Lilith about three-quarters of the way through twice, but never
managed to finish it.

Gutenberg also has a copy of Charles Williams' "Descent into Hell", but
only for people who reside outside the US and the EU. AFAIK, it's the
only Inkling-written book legally available online.
