I'm neither of these gents, but I saw GF in a store yesterday.

the novels going to be "crossover or mixed" novels?>>
A new TNG paperback, DO COMETS DREAM?, just hit stores in the last few weeks,
and there will be a 12-book TNG series coming in 2004. These are not
crossovers.
There will be many TNG elements in the forthcoming LOST ERA miniseries, too,
which covers the gap between Kirk's loss on the Enterprise-B at the beginning
of GENERATIONS and the start of TNG.
Hope this helps.
