[18:23] <KK> Just fine. I just drained the batttery on the phone
talking to my stepmother and my dad in Fla.

[18:23] <KK> I still need to call my mom in SF, but have to let the
battery recover for a bit.

[18:24] <KK> Nope. It isn't Mother's Day over here. It was about 6
weeks ago.

nino's party and i wanted to show him the photo album
[18:25] <KK> Scrappy is doing brilliantly. Hardly limping at all.
Goes back to the vet for a check tomorrow, but she (the vet) will be
amazed.

[18:26] <KK> Am in the process of moving into my very nearly finished
dressing room. (just needs a carpet.)

[18:26] <KK> I also tried on almost everything I own, and set aside a
huge pile to give away. Closet is much tidier now.

[18:27] <KK> Have been working on the DC polish, as that's easier to
pick up and put down than the Childe book.
[18:27] <RainbowDragon> How far along are you in DC?
[18:27] <KK> We have a white tie dinner Friday night, so trying on was
a drastic necessity.
[18:27] <RainbowDragon> ahhh
[18:28] <KK> Oh. DC. About chapter 4, I think.
[18:28] <RainbowDragon> okay
[18:28] <RainbowDragon> and how far in CM?
[18:28] <KK> Not nearly far enough.
[18:28] <RainbowDragon> okay
[18:29] <KK> But I did actually finish the rough draft of another
chapter earlier in the week.
[18:29] <RainbowDragon> I'm anxiously awaiting both of them

[18:30] <KK> Kenneth is now Earl of Lendour, and knighted two Lendour
squires in the king's presence.
[18:30] <RainbowDragon> progress is a very good thing!

[18:30] <KK> And on that note, and because I really still do have to
call my mom, I'd better boogie.
