From the New York Post:

June 26, 2007 -- FANS of the late Kurt Vonnegut can see him in an unusual
movie role later this summer. In the dark indie drama "Never Down," due on
DVD from Vanguard Cinema in August, the Pulitzer-winning novelist plays a
philosophical apparition who helps guide a troubled ex-con (Robert LaSardo)
attempting to reunite with his daughter.

You mean he was REALLY IN the movie, before he died, or do they just
refer to him?
Sounds like he's really in it. How come we never heard anything about
it before?
I will be watching for this on dvd.
Meanwhile, I want to buy Mother Night, but for some reason it is
higher than most movies at the video store. So I'm looking for a used
copy. Great movie. I've seen it about 3 times now.

I just came across this and reposted it, so you know what I know. I'll be
watching for the DVD release.

*google, google*

Looks like the movie was already released in theaters last year. Amazon has
it starring "Sardo, Vonnegut." The release date for the DVD is Aug. 28.
