Right now, I'm translating into English a piece of very interesting
modern writing that is to be eventually published along with some
photos in a bilingual version both in Russia and in Europe. In order
to complete the task I require some resources which are unfortunately
unavailable neither on the web nor locally here in Moscow, Russia.

Kurt Vonnegut Jr. I'm pretty sure I need the part in Breakfast of
Champions, NAMELY exact wording of journalists' lingo they would
resort to notifying each other of a fire, doing so in order to keep
the message coded for the whoever else could have intercepted it. Has
to do with winter (fur)
apparel.

Okay....after a sane and sober re-reading of your post I see that you
want the "journalist's lingo ...notifying each other of a fire."

I believe this is a mis-reading of the text and I do not believe that
there is any mention of this in Breakfast of Champions. The journalist's
lingo in BOC has to do with a slang term for a woman's private parts.

I am confused, then, as to why you want the exact wording, as it is given
explicitely in the text.

'They needed a code word....The word was this: "Beaver!" '

If you send me the finished Russian text I would go through it and
