Anyone else see a common thread in Praji and Pirojil?

They both begin with the letter "P"?

Praji was created by my friend Richard Spahl back in college in the
1970's, when we were gaming together. He and Vaja were the only two
game created characters I used. Joel Rosenberg created Pirojil for his
own novel, Not Exactly The Three Musketeers, and then "cloned them" for
me to use in Murder.

Besides the fact, of course, they're both ugly as sin, have terrible
tempers, and know how to fight like three guys.

Common trope among adventure/fantasy writers.

Best, R.E.F.

No offense intended, I just find it coincidental that there are two
characters with their names so close, descriptions so close, and they both
have traveling partners that are their 'opposites'.

I think Kings Buccaneer is one of your best books, thanks!

Thanks for the kind words. Praji and Vaga annoyed the hell out of me
when I was gaming with Rich, and when I finally wrote a story set down
in Novindus (where I ran my campaign in college) I decided I had to use
those two clowns.

Best, R.E.F.
