What has Kitty been up to? - As I it Kitty is going back in to the super hero bussiness again. I'm a bit since I would love to see her in an ongoing but maybe that's just me. What I was wondering about is what has she been up to..

Here's a tricky question for a comic. Kitty was reminiscing (with
hostility) about her first run in with the White Queen when she was
"only 13". How old is she (and the other X-men) supposed to be now? I
know this isn't something that can be easliy verified, but I'm curious.
I was surprised to learn the White Queen was only 27, and ...way
back when Rogue was introduced I didn't realize untill years in she was
only supposed to be a teen. So how old are these guys now?

"Young adult" is about as close to a guess that I'm willing to make: somewhere
between 18-21.

General concensus seems to be that Emma lied about her age. She's probably in
her early-30s, as Scott should be.

Rogue is probably in her early- to mid-20s. She turned 18 shortly after joining
the X-Men. Kitty was 14 at the time. So, anywhere from 22 to 25 would be my
guess.

If you look through Google's archieves, you'll see that that topic was
discussed (to death, I may add) about maybe 4?, 5? months ago? About the
only thing I got out of it is that she's (probably) over 18, and that's all
you'll probably ever get the majority to agree upon.

Kitty is about 21. She had to be that age to be a bartender in Chicago.
Other ages are rather vague and I don't expect that to change.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Really? Hmm...I guess that people from Illinois don't know what they're
talking about. It could be the rules changed to or from 18 - or that
they were just wrong. It could also be Chicago-specific, but I
certainly wouldn't place any bets on that. Thanks for the update.

I'd use Cannonball as a gauge for Kitty's age, but that never works out
too well. Franklin Richards always screws it up for everyone else.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Right. At the start of Mekanix (or the prequel?) Kitty reminsced that
she first met the X-Men five years ago (at a t ime when she was 13.5)
