Uh, I agree with you, you're seeing the top of the hand and not the palm. But
as the thumb is outward, that means the hand is reversed. That's a right hand
on a left arm.

Hey, Darren, you got a scan of the matching skeleton artwork for this?

First - thanks!

Second - huh???

I thought *maybe* we were just seeing a long thumb coming from the far side of
the hand. But the skeleton definitely seems to have a right hand on the left
arm.

Problem is - it also has a right hand on the right arm!

And the right thumb isn't anywhere near the length the left would have to be to
create the illusion I thought we might be seeing

I therefore revise my stance. The Kzin's hands are NOT reversed.

He just has 2 right hands.

Eek!

Unless the thumbs are in the right place, but there's something weird
going on with the "little" fingers, especially on the left hand.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Might have dual opposable thumbs. Some Niven creature has those, don't they?
Although not the Kzin.

So there does not need to be any left handed joysticks etc for kzin.

Unless there are kzin with two left hands!
