Is the wrong anwser for Shrikes and Ferrets.
Both have Starship grade manuevering and docking thrusters. [We know this
from Ashes of Victory.]
Starship Grade docking thrusters are sufficiently high powered that they
leak multiple g through inertial dampners. Thus they are capable of
multiple g.
Nww model LAC's have sustained mass reserves for the manuevering they do
on thrusteras in combat.
End result You can land a LAC is you don';t mind playing a plasma flame
over the area around which you are going to land. [Choose something non
flamable and use thrusters angled away from directly down.]
Alternitively you take out the interlocks on the wedge and use the ventral
wedge to lower your self to the ground [Need edge clearance here, try at
doing this at sea.]
Or reconfigure the nodes to work like a pinance's AG and use the thrusters
to blow you down to the surface.
Any starship can land given the thruster power levels quoted for the ENS's
final battle.
