Has anyone else read the Lianden Universe books by Sharon Lee and Steve
Miller?
I know that I read one several years ago -- but never followed up.
Just recently I discovered that my library system had bought all of them
since they've been recently re-published.
Am enjoying them immensely -- especially now that I'm reading them in order.
May have to buy copies for 'keepsies' for me.

Yes. I've read them all and loved them all. Also went out and bought
all 10 chapter books (my poor aching wallet). There's another due out
in the spring, I think. Got it on the automatic watch list.

10???
I've only read seven:
Local custom
Scout's progress
Conflict of honors
Agent of change
Carpe diem
Plan B
I dare
Ok -- checked amazon -- Balance of trade is another Liaden book
But -- Tomorrow log and Low ports are not.
That's all that's listed.

<cough>
Finished _I Dare_, the last one to date, over lunch today.
I've read the bulk of them over the past couple weeks.
The friend who loaned me the first couple is _eeeevil_.

Well, of course!
I just wish that there was a bit more of Shan and Priscilla -- than
quite so much Val Con and Miri.

Now I don't know what to read next...

True. I really liked Shan; he had class. Lee&Miller did a great job
capturing an eccentric outlook through dialogue, with him.

I've read them, and tortured a friend by holding on to the last one for
a week after I lent her the first ones.

That's not bad. Bad was the friend who hooked me on them a year
before the last one of the set came out, leaving me dangling for
months.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: Liaden Universe |

I've been buying them in e-book format (Embiid Books). They're among
my favorites.
